Casual Employment Opportunities

Casual hourly support staff replace an employee who is absent from work and/or for positions that have not yet been filled. Our casual support staff self-manage a flexible work schedule, have the unique opportunity to become better acquainted with our district and schools, earn days towards seniority, and are able to apply for regular assignments at any time!

The Okanagan Similkameen School District received special program approval on April 1, 2011 from the BC Human Rights Tribunal to hire candidates of Indigenous ancestry for Indigenous Education Advocate postings.
